Manaslu: winter 2021/22

In December 2021, I went on a winter expedition to Manaslu. The goal was to repeat the Polish team’s 1984 ascent. During the expedition, I met Simone Moro and Alex Txikon, legends of winter Himalayan climbing. Heavy snowfall (over 2 meters at Base Camp) made efficient progress impossible. The hero of the Story was a dog named Pintxo, and the expedition resulted in the short film Manaslu: The Spirit of Madness.
