WINTER POLISH NATIONAL EXPEDITION: K2 2017/18

In December 2017, a Polish national expedition set off to Pakistan to attempt the first winter ascent of K2.

Two months later, I joined the team as a TV reporter. From Base Camp, at 5,000 meters above sea level, I covered the climbers’ progress. After the expedition, I produced a short documentary: “K2: Mountain of Desires” (K2: Góra Pragnień).

It was my first encounter with high mountains, but I knew I wanted to return to K2 one day.
